Paraeducators play a vital role in supporting students and teachers every day, often working behind the scenes to provide the individualized attention students need to thrive. To honor their dedication, Central Rivers AEA is once again accepting nominations for the ABC Paraeducator Award.

This award celebrates paraeducators who go above and beyond in their profession – both in the classroom and in the community. Their efforts help create inclusive, supportive learning environments that make a lasting impact on students’ success. Nominations are now open! The form asks for two to three examples of how a paraeducator demonstrates excellence in key competencies and how they exceed expectations in their professional role. Letters of recommendation are welcome but not required.

The deadline for submissions is March 28. Sector winners will be announced in the spring, with the agency-wide winner revealed in May. Submit your nomination today using the form link or QR code provided below!
